Black Wilderness, Highway Crosses and Horror: Our Designs
Every design in our store starts with a piece of our world. Here are the ideas behind them, so you can pick the one that fits you best.
Which designs come from the albums?
Screams from a Black Wilderness: our 2016 concept album tells a campfire horror story in every track. Our Screams design shows a hooded figure in a cold blue forest of bare trees and crosses, and the Hollywood badge wraps the album title around a campfire, a tent and pine trees.
Highway Crosses: our 2018 album gets two badges, crossed axes over a campfire on the front and a road-sign shield naming Los Angeles on the back.
What about the logo designs?
The band's tall logo, with inverted crosses hanging off the letters, is the heart of the Side Logo, Stacked Logo and Horned Yeti designs. If you want something simple, these are the place to start. The Side Logo runs the four initials, A H T Y, straight down one side.
Where do the horror posters come in?
Campfire horror runs through the collection. The Reaper Tractor puts a hooded reaper next to a rusted tractor in cold teal light. The Antler Chapel shows a haunted log-cabin church behind a huge antlered skull. The Horned Yeti is our own monster, with curled ram horns and acid-green drool.
And the slogans?
Some designs just say it out loud: Drugs and Violence, Die Hipster Scum and Worship Satan Hail Yeti are for anyone who likes their metal merch with a wink.
